Auto Pay Instructions for Parents
New JMC Parent Portal Feature – Auto Pay
There is a new feature this year for parents. You can set up auto pay for items like lunch accounts (for grades 5-12). You are able to set up your account so that either once a month or depending on your balance, you can have money automatically deposited into your account. You decide how, when, and how much get deposited into your school account. You can use this for payment of your book fees – you can pay a certain amount of money each month to pay off your book fees. You can use this to setup your Preschool tuition fees. This doesn't work for things like activity tickets, yearbooks, and other fees like those. The following directions show how to setup the auto pay.
Log into your JMC Parent Portal (make sure it is 2025-26 school year). Once logged in, click on Lunch in the left hand side menu (to set up Auto Pay for Lunch) or click on Tuition/Fees (to set up Auto Pay for Tuition/Fees). You have to set it up in both places if you want to use Auto Pay for both Lunch Accounts and for Tuition/Fees. You set it up about the same way in both places. Below walks you through the Lunch Auto Pay.
Click on Lunch on the left hand side then click on Manage Reoccurring Payments link on the right hand side of the screen.
On the following screen, you will need to check the box in front of Enable Auto Payments.
The following screen will appear where you can first choose Auto Recharge for Balance or Monthly. If you pick Balance, then you need to fill in a balance when you want an auto payment to be made. You might want to do a little math, if you have one high school child that eats breakfast ($2.30) and lunch ($3.30), if you wait until you are down to $5, they won’t have enough money to eat that day (both together would be $5.50.It could take a day or overnight for deposits to be made by the bank (which we have no control over). It would be good to figure out a day or two cushion.
Now if you are doing auto pay for Preschool tuition, you can figure out how much you want to pay each month (the monthly option) to pay the tuition for the year by the end of school year or semester. You pick which day of the month you want the deposit made and how much for the deposit.
The final step is to setup your Payment Method.You may already have a credit or debit card in there, if not you will click the down arrow key chose New Account.Then fill out your name and then either credit card info or bank account information.
