ELC Middle School Announcements

Date: FRIDAY, May 20, 2022   Day: 6  (LAST day of 21-22)

Happy Birthday to all students with a birthday over summer break!

Breakfast: Cereal, String Cheese, Fruit, Juice, Milk

Lunch: Brown Bag Day: Ham Sandwich, Baked Chips, Carrots, Sliced Apples, Fruit Snacks, Milk

Today:

  • End of 4th Quarter/ 2nd Semester

  • 6th grade using green space and basketball court area until 1:00 pm

  • 8th grade using the MS gym today

1:00 pm          6th grade to Skateland, 1:00-3:00 pm

IMPORTANT:  ALL SCHOOL-ISSUED CHROMEBOOKS AND CHARGE CORDS should be turned in to your homeroom teacher or the office.

LUNCH TICKETS: Students, please make sure you save your lunch ticket to use next year. If you want, drop it off with Mrs. Day (W215) and she will keep it over the summer until next school year.

NOTE: Please pick up your artwork from Mr. Wilson in the Art room before school is out for summer.

ELC Midget Football Summer Camps: Registration forms are available in the office if interested.

Fall Driver’s Ed. sign-up: Bring your permit to the high school office to get on the list.  Class will start in September.

  • ALL library books are due today; please return to the library to avoid a fine and/or having to pay for a replacement book.

12:30 pm       5th to RWC, 12:30-3:00 pm

IMPORTANT:  ALL SCHOOL-ISSUED CHROMEBOOKS AND CHARGE CORDS need to be turned before the end of the school day tomorrow, 5-20-22. You can turn them in to your homeroom teacher, or bring them to the office.

8th Grade:  If you want to try out for cheerleading in high school, there is a sign-up sheet in the office.

Date: MONDAY, May 16, 2022   Day: 2 (Even-5th Choir & 6th/7/8 Band; Odd-5th Band & 6th/7/8 Choir)

Breakfast: Egg Omelet / Ham, Fruit, Juice, Milk

Lunch: Chicken Strips, Lettuce Salad, Corn, Fresh Fruit, Milk

Daily Chuckle: What do lobsters do on the last day of school?  They shellabrate!

Today:

  • 5th AM, 8th, & 7th TAG classes to the library today

6:00 pm          FFA meeting, MS lower commons, 6:00-7:30 pm

6:30 pm          8th Parent/Student Orientation, HS Little Theatre, 6:30-8:00 pm

TOMORROW: Field Day– 5th & 6th from 8:45–11:45 am / 7th & 8th from 12:15-3:15 pm. Athletic shoes and clothing are a must!  Bring a water bottle and sunscreen if you want.  Please, no slip-on shoes.  No rubber cleats allowed on the track.

Artwork still on display will be brought to homerooms on Wednesday.  All artwork not on display, please pick up from Mr. Wilson in the Art room before school is out for summer break.

8th Girls: There is a meeting tomorrow morning for all ELC girls who plan to participate in HS basketball next year. Please meet in the HS Little Theatre, May 17, at 7:30 am with Coach Martindale.

The following 8th graders need to finish next year’s HS schedules: Levi Popken-Webb, James Richard, and Caden Hoffman. Please stop in Guidance and talk to Ms. Hooper.
