Job Details
Summary:
The 3rd Grade Classroom Teacher provides high-quality instruction to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. This position fosters a positive, inclusive learning environment, implements district curriculum aligned to Iowa Core Standards, and collaborates with colleagues and families to support student success.
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned to Iowa Core Standards and district curriculum

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

Assess student learning and monitor academic progress using formative and summative measures
-
Establish and maintain a positive classroom culture that supports student engagement and behavior
-
Collaborate with special education staff, interventionists, and support services to meet student needs
-
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
-
Participate in team meetings, professional learning communities (PLCs), and professional development
-
Maintain accurate student records and comply with district, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field

Valid Iowa teaching license issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners

Appropriate elementary education endorsement or ability to obtain one

Terms: Salary and benefits per district agreement.
