The Estherville Lincoln Central Board of Education held a regular meeting on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 5:15 P.M. in the High School Media Center.  Board members present were:  Kathy Cornwall, President, Cory Hoyer, Vice-President, Jodie Greig, Duane Schnell, Melissa Regelstad.   Others present were:  Tara Paul, Superintendent; Kate Woods, Board Secretary/Treasurer, -  Brad Leonard, HS Principal; David McCaulley, MS Principal; Shane Kalous, Elementary Principal; Lili Jensen, Frank Christenson, Curriculum/Alt. HS Director, Ed Funston, KILR, Andy Umthun, Activities Director;   Dave Swartz -EDN,  Leslie Reiter, Emma Christensen, Jason Kollasch, Nate Hansen, Josh Schaben, Priscilla Origer

Call to Order/Roll Call                                                              President Cornwall called the regular meeting to order at 5:15.p.m.  Board members present were Schnell, Hoyer, Regelstad, Greig.

Agenda Approval                                                                     Motion by Greig, second by Schnell to approve the agenda with two additional hires.

Motion carried 5-0.

Public Input                                                                             There was none


Consent Agenda                                                                                       Motion by Schnell, second by Greig to approve the consent Agenda as presented.              Motion carried 5-0.

Highlights                                                                             Brad Leonard and Priscilla Origer presented a powerpoint on the benefits and need for Career Tech Education.  Emma Christenson and Leslie Reiter reported on what was happening in the Family Consumer Science area.

Snow Removal Bid 2016-17 & 2017-18 School Years            Motion by Schnell, second by Regelstad to approve the bid from ABC services   for snow removal for the 2016-17 and  2017-18 school years.  Motion carried 5-0.

Certified Enrollment Update                      No Action, informational.


Adjournment – Motion by Schnell, second by Regelstad to adjourn the meeting at 6:13pm.  Motion carried 5-0.  The next regular meeting will be November 21, 2016 at 5:15pm.                                                                                          .
