REGULAR MEETING
The Estherville Lincoln Central Board of Education held a Regular Meeting on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 5:15pm in the High School Media Center/Library. Board members present were Tony Condon, President, Jeff Soper, Vice President, Duane Schnell, Sandy Fandel and Gordon Juhl. Others present were: Tara Paul, Superintendent; Kate Woods, Board Secretary/Treasurer, Amy Peterson – EDN, Robyn Swisher, Margaret Evans, Shane Kalous, Laura Rosendahl, Joseph May, Ed Funston- KILR, Brad Leonard, Danny Dekker, Sara Fechter
Regular Meeting
Call to Order/Roll Call President Condon called the regular meeting to order at 5:15pm. Board members present were Schnell, Fandel, Soper, Juhl.
Agenda Approval Motion by Fandel, second by Schnell to approve the agenda with two additional hires and postponing setting the calendar hearing until the March meeting. Motion carried 5-0.
Public Input None.
Consent Agenda Motion by Schnell, second by Juhl approve the consent agenda as presented. Motion carried 5-0.

Bills
Hires – Demoney Teacher Associate – Maisey Matthews; Stephanie Wheatley - HS TLC Instructional Coach (FY 21 School Year); Lili Jensen – Lead TLC (FY 21 School Year)
Resignations – Jenell White, HS Success Coodinator(End of School Year); Jean Herrick – History Day Coach(End of School Year)
Transfers – Effective FY 21 School Year – Sonya Gjerde (1st Grade) to HS Student Success Coordinator; Pete Haag (HS Math) to 7th Grade Math; Doug Vander Wilt (7th Grade Math to 5th Grade Science; Alex Oleson(5th Grade) to 1st Grade.

Highlights Mayor Joseph May addressed the board and expressed the City Council’s support of the school district.
FY 19 Audit Report (draft)
Mr. Danny Dekker reviewed the draft of the Annual Audit.
Reports/Information Administrator reports were informational.

Old Business
Storage Building Update Building committee gave an update on the recent meeting.
New Business
Demoney Playground Drainage Update Jason Kollasch, Maintenance Director will give an update on the drainage issue on the Demoney Playground.
Set Public Hearing Date for FY 20-21 Motion by Fandel, second by Soper to set March 30, 2020 at 5:15pm for the public hearing of the proposed 2020-21 budget. Motion carried 5-0.
Adjournment – Motion by Schnell, second by Juhl to adjourn the meeting at 6:32 pm. Motion carried 5-0. The next regular meeting will be March 16, 2020 at 5:15pm in the High School Library/Media Center.
