REGULAR MEETING
The Estherville Lincoln Central Board of Education held a Regular Meeting on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 5:15pm in the High School Media Center. Board members present were Tony Condon, President, Jeff Soper, Vice President, Sandy Fandel (Zoom), Duane Schnell, Gordon Juhl (phone). Others present in the High School Library/Media Center were Tara Paul, Superintendent; Kate Woods, Board Secretary/Treasurer, Jason Kollasch, Connie Humble(Zoom), Brad Nelson(Zoom), Dave Swartz- Estherville News, Nathan Puhl –KILR, Michelle Hoyer, Marcy Sander, Lili Jensen(Zoom), Kevin Richardson
Call to Order/Roll Call President Condon called the regular meeting to order at 5:16pm. Board members present were Fandel (via Zoom) Schnell, Soper, Juhl (via phone).
Agenda Approval Motion by Soper, second by Schnell to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried 5-0.
Public Input None
Approval of Consent Agenda Motion by Schnell, second by Soper to approve the consent agenda as follows: Minutes from September 21, 2020 Board Meeting. Bills as presented. Hires – Brandon Harder – Tech Assistant; Transfer – Samantha Norton (Elementary TA) to District CNA
Finance reports.
Motion carried 5-0.

Reports Administrator reports were informational.
Items for Action/Discussion
New Business
Prom Discussion Marcy Sander & Michelle Hoyer spoke to the board on behalf of the 2021 Post Prom committee.
Motion by Soper, second by Schnell to cancel the Prom activities sponsored by the district, i.e. Grand March and Dance at the Elks for 2021. Ayes – Soper, Schnell, Juhl, Condon. Nays – Fandel. Motion carried 4-1.
Certified Annual Report FY 20 Treasurer’s Report was presented. No Action.
Certified Enrollment 2020 Update Preliminary Certified Enrollment numbers were presented. No Action.
Policy 703.2 Spending Plan – Unspent Balance % No Action.
Policy 507.10 – Wellness Policy Motion by Schnell, second by Soper to waive second and third reading and approve Policy 507.1 as presented.
Motion carried 5-0.
IASB Delegate Sandy Fandel will be the District’s Delegate for 2020.
Adjournment – Motion by Soper, second by Schnell to adjourn the meeting at 6:26p.m. Motion carried 5-0. The next regular meeting will be November 16, 2020 at 5:15pm.
